Breastfeeding-Friendly Crib Card Project

Free crib cards are now available to Louisiana maternity care facilities!

Purpose:

These breastfeeding-friendly crib cards were developed to encourage early and exclusive breastfeeding, skin to skin contact, rooming-in, avoiding pacifiers (unless medically necessary) and finding support for breastfeeding after discharge.  The cards are also meant to replace crib cards provided by commercial entities.

Instructions:

The crib cards are available in both pink and blue.  One side of the card is in English, the other in Spanish.  To view and download the crib cards click here:  Breastfeeding Crib Cards PINK and Breastfeeding Crib Cards BLUE.
