Become a Member of the LBC Today!

Get involved and show your commitment to making LA a breastfeeding-friendlier state – Become a member today! Individuals, local breastfeeding coalitions, hospitals and other businesses and organizations interested in supporting breastfeeding may become members of the LBC.

Member Benefits

Be part of a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to improving the health of Louisiana’s families
Receive up-to-date news and information related to breastfeeding internationally, nationally and locally
Stay informed of important advocacy efforts from the United States Breastfeeding Committee and the LBC
Voting privileges (One vote per individual member or member organization is permitted)
Receive technical assistance with establishing workplace lactation accommodations
General Membership meetings at least twice a year

Membership Dues for Membership Year (July 1^st– June 30^th):

$15 Individuals

$25 Local/Regional Breastfeeding Coalitions (regardless of non-profit status)

$50 Non-Profit Organizations (excluding hospitals)

$75 Hospitals and For-Profit Organizations

The LBC does not accept membership, donations or other resources from entities in violation of The International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and/or subsequent World Health Assembly resolutions.
